IT SOX Compliance Specialist - Netherlands - Very Competitive Daily Rate

Harvey Nash are working with an exceptional Global organisation who seek an IT SOX Compliance Specialist to join their team in the Netherlands on a Contract basis, initially until the end of 2016. UK candidates please apply.

You will serve as a trusted advisor for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance to the SOX process and control owners (IT focus). You will participate on projects and advise owners on potential SOX impact, helping to analyse and document any issues. You will act as a liaison between external auditors and SOX owners and help to train relevant team members on SOX tools and processes. Additionally, you will ensure a proper audit regime is in place and maintained.

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

. Governance, risk and compliance experience; Big 4 accounting or financial services preferred.
. Expert knowledge of regulatory compliance initiatives related to Sarbanes Oxley.
. Technology audit skills including experience performing walkthroughs and testing of program change management; logical security and access controls; program development and computer operations.
. Demonstrable experience with SAP SRM, BS, FI/CO and other SAP modules.
. Expert knowledge of 1 or more of the following compliance standards and frameworks: ISO, COBIT, PCI, ISO17999 & ISO27001
. Proficient in the design and implementation of effective IT controls
. Evidence of ability to create new processes to improve security and compliance with minimal oversight.
. Prior IT Audit and GRC experience preferred.
. Certifications: CISA, CSAM, CISM CGEIT, CRISC or accounting certifications a plus.
. Effective time management skills.
. An excellent team player.
. Verbal and written communication skills to a very high standard.
. Effective influencer.
. Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
. Good project management skills.
