IT Solutions Specialist

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Working directly on application/technical problem identification and resolution, including potential off-shift and weekend support functions.
- Participating in integrated testing and user acceptance of application or infrastructure components.
- Working with vendors on the integration of purchased application(s) and/or infrastructure.
- Designing and implementing processes, or process improvements, to aid in development and support.
- Will work directly in the team providing user programming and structuring of team data repositories as well as ad-hoc reporting, process development assistance, and process automation.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Computer related or Engineering related four year College or University Degree.
- 1-3 years progressively responsible IT job related experiences.
- SAS programming, SQL, MS Access, and Excel with macro development are required.
- Program/process design, SAS programming, SQL, MS Access, and Excel with macro development are required.
- Excellent communication skills are also required.
- Ability to work both independently and with a cooperative team on complex projects that may span multiple infrastructure components or applications.
