IT Solutions Manager - FSA/DPA Regulations

IT Solutions Manager urgently required by our financial client based on the South Coast. The successful Solutions Manager will have experience of Matrix managing project teams of up to 20 people developing fundwrap & E-commerce platforms working to Agile or Waterfall method. Ideal Development Manager will have financial services experience and thorough understanding of FSA/DPA regulations.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Day to Day performance management of a team of 20+ IT Developers ensuring the development of a high performing team that enables the business to achieve its objectives and goals and ensure that systems are maintained, up to date and fit for purpose of the users. To develop and manage the workflow and solution development life cycle from change requirement stage to the delivery to production within agreed budget, timelines and in accordance to approved requirements and specification. Line management and operational responsibility for the IT Service Desk with both team leaders reporting in

- Tactical Execution of IT Solution Strategy
- Agile and Waterfall development
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a proven history of driving results
- Ability to formulate concepts
- Proven track record of successful systems project implementation
- Ability to foster motivation within the project team to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to have a strong impact and influence key decisions
- A Financial Services background with a broad coverage of all business areas.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS  

- Prince 2 Practitioner
- ITIL qualifications
