Our Client is seeking an IT Solutions Architect.

In this IT Solutions Architect role, the person will oversee from an architectural perspective all aspects of the project life cycle, from initial kickoff through requirements analysis, design and implementation phases for projects within a specific portfolio area. The IT Solutions Architect will be involved in more than one project at one time depending on the size and scope of the initiatives.

The initial project requirements for this Solutions Architect are in the Finance and Strategic Planning functional areas. Marketing, Risk, Human Resources and other functional areas may be considered as time allows.Role and Responsibilities

The IT Solutions Architect is a multi-dimensional role requiring both deep technical expertise and strong interpersonal and communications skills. The IT Solutions Architect provides technical oversight for solution development initiatives. Reporting to the architecture team and working with the designated Portfolio Architects and assigned Project Managers, the IT Solutions Architect is responsible for providing architectural direction (design and technology) as part of the process of developing, customizing, integrating, and maintaining systems.

The IT Solutions Architect maintains a challenging role as a member of both the Architecture and Project teams.Qualifications

Required Skills - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related
- 7+ years experience progressively advancing experience in IT projects in technical roles
- Strong understanding of application development and system development life cycle
- 1+ years experience working as an IT Solutions Architect
- Understanding of different types of integration patterns and experience with point to point and enterprise wide integration initiatives
- Experience architecting and designing n-tiered distributed Internet applications
- Systems integration experience
- Data analysis, data modelling and data mapping experience
- Experience in multi-tiered web based solutions.

Desired Skills: - Understanding of oil and gas industry
- Knowledge of ITIL V3 Framework
- Knowledge of TOGAF, PEAF, Zachman or some related Enterprise Architecture Framework/Topology
- Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware and Informatica Middleware technologies
- Architecture road mapping experience
- Working knowledge of SharePoint and Livelink content management systems
- Knowledge of ADP Procure-to-Pay solutions.
