IT Solution Designer Retail & Marketing Applications

Nicholas Bernard seek a Solution designer in Retail and marketing applications for our client in Brussels.

Duties.

Development of proposals for implementation and design of retail and marketing solutions which are: Multi-Format, Multi-Channel, Multi-Country, and Multi-Business Model
End-to-end architecture design including the validation with the security and data privacy teams
Provide technical leadership, project guidance, and business development in support to the business analysts
Advise business and technology delivery leadership on how to translate the business requirements into technology solutions
Participation in customer's workshops and provide presentations of the proposed solution;
Data analysis and data modelling
Acts as a technical liaison between clients, service engineering teams and support;
Review and audit of existing solution, design and system architecture
Perform profiling, troubleshooting of existing solutions
Create technical documentation.
Strong knowledge of data storage and processing technologies (relational DBMS, no SQL, Hadoop)
Knowledge of software development frameworks (.net and Java)
3+ years in position of Solution Designer (incl. solution design and Datamodelling)
Prior consulting, advisory, or professional services experience preferred
Practical expertise in performance tuning and optimization, bottleneck problems analysis
IT experience in Retail Front End, Back End, Digital, Marketing environment
Experience in standard IT processes (change management, release management, incident management)
Experience in Data Exchange and Synchronization projects will be considered an asset
Knowledge of CRM solutions will be considered an asset
Knowledge of POS solutions will be considered an asset
Knowledge of Loyalty solutions will be considered an asset
Knowledge of customer analytics solutions (Big Data or others) will be considered an asset
Excellent command of Microsoft solutions (Office, Project, Visio)
