IT Software License Manager (Dutch Speaker)

Senovo IT is urgently looking for a IT Software License/Contract Manager in Amsterdam, Netherlands for a long term assignment as a freelancer.

The IT Software License Manager is responsible for systematically engaging stakeholders who utilize software to ensure that the use of the software is within its licensed software entitlements (as
administered by customer). If software is found that is not fully licensed, the IT Software License Manager
initiates and drives necessary actions to resolve all aspects of the non-compliance.
The IT Software License Manager is responsible for managing the tracking and monitoring of IT
software assets throughout the product life cycle to ensure accuracy and compliance of all customer
IT assets within the scope of customer. In collaboration and partnership with Procurement and Technology
stakeholders, consult and navigate the process of acquiring and maintaining IT software licenses;
including setting up and capturing licensing deployment requirements within the SAM repository.
Identify, research, and assist with resolving compliance related licensing issues to ensure alignment
with applicable contracts. Managing the creation, renewals, and cancellations of IT software contracts in the scope of customer.
The IT Software License Manager manages all operational aspects of the software contracts. The IT
Software License Manager pro-actively monitors all aspects of the software contracts regarding
volumes, purchases, invoices, and expirations. And improve as needed to ensure compliance with customer policies.

EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in a science or business or technical advanced degree preferred and at least 5
years of experience in (software) industry with both technical and contractual exposure.
Strong understanding of software technology, licensing, compliance, and controls, as well as being
able to understand and interpret nuances of software license agreements and contracts.
Must be comfortable working across all business functions at every level from individual contributor to
C-Level executives, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in renewal,
creation and professionalizing the management and administration of IT software contracts.
Personal skills
Be a keen observer with a proactive attitude, precise and accurate. Ability to exercise independent
judgement and to lead, influence, and team with others.
Strong working knowledge of IT software contracts and licensing.
Excellent organisation, communication and prioritisation skills required. Very good English language proficiency (both spoken & written).

OTHER INFORMATION:

Good working knowledge of ICT products, systems, and applications, such as SaaS, Cloud.

FLUENT IN ENGLISH AND DUTCH.
