For a project at our clients site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
IT Software Engineer - Java/Oracle PL/SQL (5094)
you'll be working in the Credit Risk IT team in Zürich. They are responsible for applications to manage our credit risk and are supplying services in the area of deciding, monitoring, calculating and reporting of risk.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- MINIMUM OF 6 YEARS OF HANDS ON DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE USING CORE JAVA AND ORACLE PL/SQL
- GOOD UNDERSTANDING ON MUTLI-THREADING, JDBC, XML-PARSING, DATA LOADING USING JAVA
- UNDERSTANDING OF EXISTING FUNCTIONALITIES USING JAVA/SQL CODE WITH LESS DOCUMENTATION
- STRONG ANALYTICAL ABILITIES PAIRED WITH THE KNOWLEDGE ON UNIX, LINUX GITHUB AND SONAR
- AutoSys troubleshooting skills on Scheduler
- Previous experience in the fincancial sector ideally Risk is an advantage
- Communicative, team and quality oriented personality paired with a can do attitude
- FLUENT ENGLISH SKILLS WITH GERMAN AS A PLUS
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement and deliver high quality software solutions/components for the Risk platform that conform to architectural standards
- Leverage his/her expertise to mentor and lead developers; review code/designs and ensure adherence to standards
- Manage and 'own' significant development tasks end-to-end
- Demonstrate superior collaboration skills in working closely with other development, testing and implementation teams to roll-out important regulatory and business improvement programs
