For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. The skills and experience needed for this position are:
- Up-to-date deep understanding of Object Orientated software and design skills with an established track record of development in an OO language.
- Be proficient in C# and backed up by a demonstrable reference showing this proficiency.
- Additional skills in JavaScript and HTML5 would be advantageous.
- Designing and building complex Graphical User Interfaces and with interactive visualization charting components.
- Knowledge of VB6/VBA. Must be able to step through and understand VB6/VBA code.
- Database expertise especially handling of financial data eg time series
- Building complex publication ready customizable reports and documents.
- Solid grasp of automating with the MS Office Object Model (Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
- Proven problem solving skills with ability to plan resources and control activities.
- Written and spoken fluency in English required.
- Familiarity with financial IT infrastructure.
