Fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated IT Software Asset Management Analyst to start the New Year by joining one of the UK's leading Financial Institutions.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

- Be a day-to-day interface between the business and suppliers of goods and services. The Software Asset Management team is responsible for the identification, recording, auditing and reporting of IT Software, ensuring full licence compliance at all times.
- Knowledge of SAM Toolsets especially of Aspera Smart Track would be preferable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Account for all the IT software within the organisation.
- Provide accurate information on software licences incl renewal & maintenance records, feeding into third party providers.
- Verify the usage position against entitlement and correct any exceptions.
- Manage all day-to-day Asset Licence management activities, including:
- Use relevant workflow systems to manage business requests
- Monitor and manage the Team Mailbox
- Perform software audits as required
- Ensure all inventory information is updated on the relevant systems in relation to software, maintenance renewals etc.
- Contribute to the collation of MI as required.
- Work with our SAM partners as required, proactively identifying areas for improvement
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities within the SAM area
