Für einen unserer Kunden sind wir auf der Suche nach Consultants, die folgende Anforderungen erfüllen:

Allgemeine Beschreibung:
Welcome Data Center visitors and escort them as required by The Purchaser’s applicable policies
Manage phone calls related to Data Center reception.
Perform basic Operations tasks including visual observation, restart of Equipment, connection and disconnection of external media, etc.
Enforce application of Data Center policies (security, usage)
Regularly verify the enforcement of Data Center policies (security, usage)
Regularly audit Data Center status according to checklists and applicable procedures defined by The Purchaser.
Escalate to The Purchaser any major non-compliance or failure in the enforcement of policies that has been verified or observed during the audit.
Apply corrective measures following the escalation about non-compliance or failure in the enforcement of policies.
Regularly measure physical infrastructure indicators, including temperature, humidity, dust, etc.
Escalate and follow-up in case of an alert or observation of an abnormal status on physical infrastructure.
Perform reception and visual checking of delivered Equipment and Small Physical Infrastructure.
Manage the stock of the Equipment and Small Physical Infrastructure.
Physical tapes bolting
Resolve interruptions caused by conditions external to production programs, such as disk or tape issues.

Coordinate all actions and actors, as necessary, in the execution of support activities.
Enforce application of Equipment installation/uninstallation/move procedures.
Prepare/install/uninstall/move of Equipment of any type, including server, data, network, security, etc., but except racks, according to applicable Equipment installation procedures.
Prepare/install/uninstall/move of Small Physical Data Center Infrastructure according to applicable Data Center procedures.
Verify compliance to applicable procedures of install/uninstall/move of Equipment or Small Physical Data Center Infrastructure done by other people than the Supplier’s.
Regularly audit Equipment installations for compliance with applicable procedures.
Regularly audit Small Physical Data Center Infrastructure for compliance with applicable procedures.
Perform removal of sensitive components (e.g. hard disk) in decommissioned Equipment.
Follow up the physical decommissioning of the Equipment and sensitive components.
Fully manage IT Consumables, including reception, update of asset and inventory, stock management, escalation to order, capacity planning, map, etc.
Performa basic activities on IT Consumables, including entry and exit, inventory of backup cartridge, etc.
Fully manage Small Physical Data Center Infrastructure, including reception, update of asset and inventory, stock management, escalation to order, capacity planning, map, etc.
Perform basic activities on Small Physical Data Center Infrastructure
including installation, uninstallation, move, replacement, etc.
Perform troubleshooting on Small Physical Data Center Infrastructure
Maintain and update Data Center assets (e.g. cables, fibers, racks, …)
Maintain and update Data Center maps (e.g. layouts of data rooms, racks, …)
Maintain and update Data Center tools (e.g. physical environment surveillance, video surveillance, …)
Regularly audit Data Center assets
Regularly audit Data Center map
Collect relevant information and update capacity planning
Escalate alerts when exceeding thresholds defined on capacity planning
Maintain and update DRP tool (e.g. USB key …) and documentation used for execution of a DRP.
Maintain and update the documentation related to the Data Center activities
Update and publish the dashboard specific to the Data Center
Update and publish part of the dashboard of the IM department to the Data Center team
Identify visible incidents on Data Center environment (e.g. power breakdown, temperature elevation, light problem, wall degradation, tile instability, …)
Open, follow up, escalate, acquit and maintain statistics of incidents on Data Center environment
Provide support on specific requests from Data Center administrators (e.g. specific inventory, specific installation, specific action on physical Data Center infrastructure, …)
Provide support to The Purchaser during its major Data Center consolidation and cleaning activities which are happening two to three times a year.ng von Vorteil
