Projektbeschreibung

IT SERVICE QUALITY LEAD

Are you working in service quality analysis and keen to bring your experience of managing continual service improvement to a new role in a large, dynamic organisation? Can you take large volumes of data and turn them into practical, usable information? Are you excited by the idea of working for a high-profile organisation that makes a big difference to people's lives?

We're the Financial Ombudsman Service - an independent organisation set up to sort out disputes between financial services businesses and their customers. When a consumer has a complaint that they can't settle with the business, they can come to us. We're here to act fairly, reasonably and impartially - and our service is free for consumers to use.

Our organisation is always changing as we respond to the new demands of consumers. Currently, we don't do much service management analysis, but we're looking to make much more use of it in the future. That's where you come in. This is a new role with the chance to really shape our approach and develop the role in the way you think works best for the ombudsman and you. Our aim is to improve our users' experience of IT by finding effective ways to monitor issues and respond to them quickly.

So what are we looking for from you? Our IT service quality lead is responsible for our continual service improvement programme, so having knowledge of quality methodologies would be an advantage. You'll also have experience of working in service quality analysis or management and be able to interpret data collected in a large organisation with at least 2000 employees. You may have your ITIL qualification and you must be happy working in an open, friendly environment where everyone shares a strong set of values. We'll look to you to provide effectiveness and efficiencies reviews, as well as benchmarking, to make sure we're always improving the way we work and the service we deliver.

And what can we offer you in return? On top of the starting salary and standard benefits including a generous non-contributory pension, you can also choose the flexible benefits that best suit you and your life. And very importantly, you'll get the chance to make a positive difference every day at the heart of an organisation which is providing a valued service to society.

When we recruit, we actively look for people from a wide range of backgrounds because we want our people to reflect the diversity of those whose complaints we settle. This keeps us in touch and connected - and able to see both sides of every story. We also do our very best to support those who need us to adapt to their circumstances - whether it's our people, customers or job applicants.

So if you think you've got the kinds of skills and experience we're looking for, apply to find out more.
