IT Service Manager required to join a long term assignment in Florence, the IT Service Manager has to speak fluent Italian and English.
IT SERVICE MANAGER POS
Job profile:
Service Manager and Support coordinator, from helpdesk activities to Change Requests management, for a worldwide retail POS network and systems (solution X STORE-MICROS)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supplier management and monitoring of Service Level Agreements
- Point of contact between suppliers and client's stakeholder (Business and IT)
- Ticket management - Supervisions of tickets' correct addressing and follow-up for the POS systems
- Users' communication focal point for issue management
- Change request management - Collection and first analysis of Business and IT requirement for approval and proper addressing.
KEY SKILLS:
- IT consultancy experience as project manager and IT Service Manager (Service Management - nice to have)
- Knowledge of retail infrastructure IT and POS SYSTEMS (XSTORE MICROS)
- Ability to read and fully understand functional and technical analysis
- Deep knowledge of support and Helpdesk processes (application and infrastructural)
- Relevant experience in projects involving the design and implementation of new IT processes
- Proved ability to effectively work in complex and multinational organizations
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical users, being able to effectively interact with C-level recipients
- Adaptability and availability to frequent business trips
- Any Certifications in ITIL, PMP, Prince2 is highly beneficial
- Languages: IT, EN (mandatory), FR (nice to have)
