IT Service Manager - Banking Salary: 50-60k+ benefits + bonus Location:London A leading global bank is looking to hire an IT Service Manager to drive Service Improvement, Change and ensure BAU for core file transfer infrastructure for the bank (connect:direct / xcom). Previous file transfer knowledge is not required as this role is not technically hands on, a more generalist infrastructure service delivery background is more applicable. The core focuses for the role and therefore ideal experiences are: * Service Improvement: Improvements, Monitoring, Control and Risk Management * Service BAU: Vendor licenses, SLA's, OLA's, planning upgrades * Change: Change function, install/config and SOX compliance. * Team management: The manager will lead a team of 15+ resources both in local and offshore locations. * ITILv3/ ITIL processes This is an ideal opportunity for service delivery professional who wants a role with responsibility to lead a diverse team, manage a key piece of infrastructure and help to drive improvements and delivery of business requirements for the bank. Banking experience is desirable bit not essential as finding someone with the correct attitude and gravitas is more important.
