THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Troubleshooting skills
- Windows, PC Hardware, and general IT knowledge
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Serve as the first point of contact for SAP employees and/or contractors seeking support
- Responsible for documenting requests, troubleshooting and resolving IT related issues
- Provide technical phone support for internal employees and contractors
- Trouble Ticket creation and monitoring
- Hardware and software problem resolution in a timely and professional manner
- Troubleshooting techniques are required
- Timely escalation of unresolved problems
- Adherence to Service Desk policies and procedures
- Attend training and staff productivity meetings
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume call center - previous experience preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Excellent listening skills and the ability to understand concerns and overcome objectives in a professional manner
- Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems
- Basic IT knowledge and/or ability
- General PC hardware knowledge
- Strong work ethic and self-starter, able to effectively multi-task
