IT Service Delivery Manager - Commodities Trading / Oil and Gas Location:Reading Salary:Perm- Highly Competitive Commodities/O&G salary + benefits + bonus A leading energy/commodities organisation is looking to hire an IT service delivery manager to ensure key commodities applications and enterprise technology services are available to the business at all times. The manager will also ensure performance meet expectations and that major incidents and problems are efficiently mitigated and resolved. The service delivery manager should have experience working for another energy/commodities company, ideally within the oil/gas/commodities trading arena. The manager would benefit greatly from coming from a support background and having moved into a service delivery/management capacity since due to the broad exposure and capacity of the role. Responsibilities and Ideal Skills: * Oversight and leadership of Application/Production Support including 3rd line. * Good knowledge of Energy/Commodities related technologies/products, especially Endur, other desirable packages include: Allegron, Triple Point, Sungard, Navita, Brady, Murex, Solarc, Sakonnet and Abacus. * Incident, problem and change management. * Stakeholder/Relationship management (technical and business). * Strategy and Release Management.
