IT Service Delivery Manager - Amsterdam - 12 Months €500 Perday

My Financial Services client based in Amsterdam are urgently looking for an ITIL Certified IT Service Delivery Manager to be involved in maintaining, migrating from, and decommissioning Legacy systems.

Responsibilities
Managing a (small) bonding IT team based across Europe along with internal/external suppliers
Manage the team via/with the existing IT team lead consisting out of small skilled helpdesk team and very experienced and knowledgeable engineers.
Resource planning of bonding IT activities.
Manage run and operate of the 3 current systems in Italy, France and the Nordics.
Keep the current systems fully operational till cut over to the new systems between 2020 and 2022.
Manage incidents and problems
Manage changes (RFC's) including forward planning, roadmap till decommissioning. Balance priorities.
Support the BBT program:
Organize and structure information on Legacy systems (technical and contractual).
Liaise with central IT organization and IT Design Authority.
Transfer contract and service responsibilities to program, central IT and/or supplier related to migration of systems.
Decommissioning of Legacy systems.

Experience & knowledge
Experience and working knowledge of Service Management (eg ITIL Expert certified).
Experience as/in:
IT Service delivery manager/IT Manager.
Managing and organising Legacy systems.
Team manager role in projects (eg Prince 2, PMP foundation or more).
Migration projects.
Good working knowledge of IT Technology:
ERP, databases, web portals, WAN/LAN/Cloud, hosting & storage.

Experience with working international and willingness to travel.
Good verbal and written communication. English spoken and written both fluent.
French, Italian and/or Spanish are an extra.

Availability
Commitment expected for assignment that is expected to last till 2021/2022.

Location
Anticipated: Amsterdam (50%), Rome (20%), Paris (20%), Other European cities 10%
