IT Service Continuity Manager - Capacity Management - Leeds

Experienced IT SERVICE CONTINUITY MANAGER/SERVICE DELIVERY MANAGER/SDM required for public sector organisation based LEEDS, YORKSHIRE.

KEY EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND REQUIRED:THE FOCUS OF THE ROLE WILL BE ON IT SERVICE CONTINUITY AND CAPACITY MANAGEMENT - PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE MUST BE EVIDENT IN CVS

EXPERIENCE AT SERVICE INTRODUCTION AND SERVICE ACCEPTANCE, WHICH INCLUDES HIGH ASSESSING AND ENSURING NECESSARY CRITERIA ARE MET, PRIOR TO SERVICE GO LIVE.

SERVICE OWNERSHIP

ENSURING END TO END SERVICES MEET THE REQUIREMENTS, MEET SERVICE LEVELS, AND TO IMPLEMENT IMPROVEMENT ACTIVITIES AND SUPPORT THEM.

EXPERIENCE AND ABILITY TO DEVELOP SERVICE MANAGEMENT PROCESSES AND IMPLEMENT IN APPROPRIATE TIMESCALES

CANDIDATES MUST DEMONSTRATE:

EXCELLENT KNOWLEDGE AND MANAGEMENT OF ITIL DISCIPLINES.

Good working knowledge of technology and enterprise-wide architecture.

Proven ability and supporting experience of managing the business continuity and disaster recovery process for medium/large scale IT Services under an ITIL Framework.

Experience of using Service Management toolsets to support and enhance processes and procedures.

Proven experience of managing internal operations and systems form a service management perspective.

Consultancy Proven expertise and experience in the delivery and management of service delivery functions.

Must be able to effectively provide subject matter expertise and well informed advice across a range of stakeholders, taking steps to ensure that it is properly understood and appropriately exploited, to enhance the effectiveness of significant activities.

Proven experience of reviewing supplier activities.
