For our client, one of the most instantly recognisable brands in the banking sector, Swisslinx are looking for a highly motivated IT Security Team Leader for a new 6 month contract in Zurich with a strong potential for extension.
IT SECURITY TEAM LEADER, BANKING (CONTRACT, ZURICH)
The role is to lead and manage a global engineering team in Secure & Control Technologies. The candidate will be responsible for the execution of key projects/initiatives and the maintenance and support of the current product portfolio. You interface with product management peers and project managers to ensure resources (internal/external) are available when needed.
The tasks will include:
- Ensuring projects in area of responsibility are successfully executed by engineering staff
- Ensuring existing products are maintained and stable
- Providing active support for employee career development
- Ensuring timely resource planning and reporting
- Supporting the implementation of new sourcing and deployment models
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Higher education in Computer or Information Sciences or relevant work experience
- Technical know-how in security domain with identity and access management (IAM)/authentication products such as Siteminder, PING, Web Entry Infrastructures or Reverse Proxy
- Experience leading a team mandatory (preferably in an engineering environment)
- Ability to quickly take over tasks
- First class analytical, design and problem solving skills
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
