IT Security Systems Engineer 80% - English Speaking Contract in Zürich

For a global bank based here in Zürich we are looking for an IT Security expert to join the team. This is a two year project as it stands.

This is an security engineering role for the area of Internet Facing Application (IFA) security, which consists of two domains: Entry Server (ES) and Authentication Server (AS). The roles tasks include design, engineering and documentation of components in the area of IFA-ES and IFA-AS, as well as third level support for the production environment.

The security engineer for IFA will work together with the Lead Engineer, Product Manager and BAs for tasks assignments. They will analyse, design, engineer and package the assigned requirements into components. In additons, proper technical documentation is a very important part of this role's tasks, as well as third level support for the production environments (globally).

We are looking for a candidates with:

- Education in IT or the relevant work experience
- GENERAL EXPERIENCE WITH WEB ENTRY SERVER AND/OR AUTHENTICATION SERVER TECHNOLOGIES ARE MANDATORY.
- BASIC PROGRAMMING SKILLS IN JAVA
- GENERAL OPERATING SYSTEMS KNOWLEDGE (LINUX/SOLARIS AND WINDOWS)
- General knowledge on database administration (Oracle)
- Experience with Packaging and Versioning (SVN)
- Ability in finding long-term IT solutions even if you are under pressure due to an IT incident
- Excellent communication skills in English
