IT Security Specialist

For our banking client in Zürich we are currently looking for an IT Security Engineer:

START: ASAP

DURATION: 39 weeks

LOCATON: Zürich

Tasks:

- Analyse file systems and permissions, for example to discover integrity issues or security policy violations.
- Discovery, analysis and remediation of inconsistent Inheritance flags on file systems.
- Support folder re-structuring or migration of data between file Servers/domains.
- Develop tooling and reports to support project team communication with end users, and to manage automated changes to permissions, file system structure, ownership and other metadata.

Responsibilities:

- Consult/recommend process changes to create sustainable solutions for access rights and inheritance.
- Work closely with ROVER project team members; Collaborate on all aspects of discovery and remediation of inappropriate access rights and associated, relevant issues.
- Attend project meetings, provide status updates. Communicate with stakeholders in a timely fashion.

Desirable SkillsWindows Scripting
- Strong data analysis skills, particularly with Excel, CSV, MS Access and similar formats.
- Able to manipulate large data sets and provide clear, concise reports, for example '..all effective permissions across all shares and sub-directories..'
- Good communications skills in English (written and verbal) in order to liaise with internal and vendor team members. The engineer will be required to explain complicated technical matters clearly and concisely to less-technical colleagues.
- German language written or spoken is not necessary, but is a bonus
