IT Security Specialist

My client is a large financial institutions and they require a IT Specialist in the field of Information Security on the IBM Mainframe and HP NonStop platforms.

You will meet the following requirements:

General knowledge/experience:
Bachelor degree;

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

- Security awareness - proven or latent;
- Functional knowledge of HP NonStop
- Experience of HP NonStop security tools like Safeguard, Protect, Secom and Audit View Functional knowledge of IBM Mainframe knowledge of RACF is required.
- Functional knowledge of security databases is a plus;
- Functional knowledge of Scripting and/or Visual Basic is a plus;
- Experience in a similar role or management role in IBM Mainframe or HP NonStop is a plus.

LANGUAGES: Dutch and English.

ACTIVITIES:

- Provides assessment, issue and handling of very high critical temporary rights to the IBM Mainframe and HP NonStop platform;
- Realizes certified financial authorizations, makes non-personal accounts and introduce changes in the authorization administrations.
- Monitors and evaluates on a regular basis the authorizations for contamination and/or inconsistency and provides a result of this, the necessary adjustments and management reports.
- Maintains and ensures optimization of the authorization process, the associated paperwork, procedures, work instructions and tooling used;
- Identifies potential weaknesses in the security system and initiates resolved;
- Maintains and ensures optimization of the security acceptance process, the associated paperwork, procedures, work instructions and tooling used;
- Provides 2nd line support; advises users to security problems; makes a substantive contribution to the incident
- Responsible for the operational implementation of new security (releases) technical infrastructure components within the ITSA field;
- Is on behalf of the department responsible for participation in change projects related to information security.
- Informs and reports regularly and specifically for the Service Level Management process. Advise the customer on an ad hoc basis regarding security solutions, or lead them to the (Senior) Consultant Information Security.
