IT Security Manager

Background
Our Central Government client has 6 month requirement for a IT Security Manager, based in Leeds. The individual will be required to have proven track record of working in the following in order to deliver the Fraud and Error programme. Risk Management Accreditation. IT Security Heath CHECK. HMG Security Policy Framework. CESG Liaison. IT Technical Security Controls/Risks. Project Lifecycle Tools. Project Disciplines

Main Duties/Responsibilities
To manage suppliers to deliver: 1. security accreditation products that provide assurance to the department for existing accreditations that are awaiting transition to LOT;s; these include. Portal,. SPOL,. JSAOL,. SOA,. IRIS, and. eIDV. (this list is not exhaustive) 2. security accreditation products that provide assurance for new accreditations. 3. To undertake the necessary commercial activities to enable engagement with suppliers; 4. to manage the delivery of IT Security Health CHECKS; 5. to manage the remediation of security vulnerabilities with the correct supplier and with the correct supplier Tower; to facilitate workshops and meetings necessary to aid the successful delivery of security accreditation

Skills/Experience Required
Previous knowledge of HMG Security Policy Framework and IS1 and IS2 is essential. A history of working within the Project Management is essential. A history of working within a multi-supplier model is essential.
