IT Security Governance and Risk Consultant

For our client, a pharmaceutical company in Basel, Switzerland, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious:

IT SECURITY GOVERNANCE AND RISK CONSULTANT

We are seeking for a Security Governance Specialist with decent Project Management experience. You will work in the Information Security Governance and Risk team and support different projects within IT Security.

TASKS:
The main task is providing information security related advice to IT project managers and the business by

- Performing data classifications,
- Reviewing data classification reports,
- Developing risk scenarios based on chosen architectural set-ups,
- Assessing existing security controls and proposing additionally required security measures by determining finally the residual risk.

The candidate will also support the Security Governance team to manage activities aimed to develop the IT Security Governance team efficiency and effectiveness.

REQUIREMENTS:

- A deep understanding and several years of experience in the area of information security and risk management is a pre-requisite (minimum of 5 years' experience)
- Project Management experience (minimum of 5 years' experience)
- Certifications in the areas of IT Security Governance (CISM), data privacy (IAPP) and Project Management (PMP, Prince2), as well as working experience in both areas.
- Experience with IT Security & Privacy are mandatory
- Fluent language skills in English (verbal and written)
- Pharmaceutical industry experience is an advantage
- Up to 10% of time travelling might be required

STARTING DATE: APRIL 2016
LOCATION: BASEL (REMOTE WORK MIGHT BE POSSIBLE ONCE A WEEK PRIOR TO APPROVAL)
DURATION: 8 MONTHS (WILL BE LIKELY EXTENDED)
