IT Security Expert (m/f), Architecture

Currently we are looking for a IT Security Expert (m/f) with architecture knowledge for our client from the telecommunication sector.

Your tasks will be:
+ Provide subject matter expertise on security architecture
+ Enhance the security posture of corporate infrastructure on topics like Anti-DDoS, Data Leakage Prevention, Cloud & SaaS Security, Intrusion Prevention/Detection, SIEM/SOC, Network Zoning & Segmentation, Anti-Malware and more
+ Examine new security technologies
+ Perform security assessments of company services and products
+ Provide security assistance and guidance in projects
+ Establishing security aware culture and promote the training of key functions on security topics and best practices.

+ More than 9 years of relevant hands on experience in security engineering and 5 years demonstrating expertise in security architecture
+ Background in security architecture with a understanding of security concepts, best practices, threats, vulnerabilities, risks and policies
+ Understanding of complex enterprise networks and large mix vendor network environments
+ Background in the research, adoption and implementation and operation of commodity and innovative security solutions (e.g. IDS/IPS, Firewalls, Application Firewalls, Anti-Virus/HIPS, Mail Filters, Secure Gateways, etc.)
+ Foundation in various network and host security domains (cloud computing, virtualization, remote access, network availability and resiliency, device hardening, network segmentation and zoning, mobility, collaboration and more)
+ Understanding of the TCP/IP protocol stack and major protocols
+ Experience in security controls for WAN, LAN, and WLAN architectures
+ Policy development pertaining to network security architecture and design
+ Experience in Threat Modeling of complex security systems
