IT Security Expert (f/m) (Log Consolidation SIEM & HIDS) Expert Financ

We are looking for our client a big financial institution in Luxembourg for an external support by a IT Security Expert (f/m) (Log Consolidation SIEM & HIDS) Expert financial area Luxembourg

Tasks/job description:

- Define Requirements for DBAG log consolidation & SIEM solution in line with Incident Response processes
- Guide product selection and define test scenarios for Proof of Concept
- Conduct Proof of Concept and design future Production environment
- Produce Test report and recommend product
- Plan and coordinate implementation in Production

Experience:

- 4-6 years experience in IT security with design & implementation of several large scale log consolidation, SIEM and HIDS implementations

Qualifications & mandatory skills:

- Excellent knowledge of Logging and SIEM technologies (syslog, Splunk, Arcsight, IBM Qradar, etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of HIDS products and Operating Systems Security (Windows, Linux)
- Previous deployment of SIEM solutions in large enterprises with SOC & CSIRT

Additional skills (considered as an advantage):

English mandatory

French and German a plus

Essential inter-personal skills:

Ability to work with international teams

Excellent negotiation skills

Assignment Details:

Location: Luxembourg

Starting date: ASAP

Basis: full-time

Duration: the assignment is currently foreseen until 31/12/2014 (extension possible), contracts might be on a three month basis
