IT Security Expert

Edelway is a Swiss IT Services Consultancy. One of our best clients based in the Geneva area is currently looking for a Senior IT Security Consultant with strong skills in Checkpoint and Cisco solutions to join them on a long term basis.

We have positions for the Geneva area and for Basel.
Start Date: ASAP/within one month from offer.
Working language: English. French or German is always welcome.

YOU WILL

*Determines security requirements by:
o Evaluating business strategies and requirements
o Researching information security standards
o Conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments
o Studying architecture/platform
o Identifying integration issues
o Preparing cost estimates.
o Working with the compliance and PM teams and remediate them
*Manage IT Security projects to remediate security vulnerabilities
*Work with partners to automate security assessments
*Collaborate with Compliance team in audits and tests

YOU NEED

*Degree in Information Technology
*Expert in Checkpoint Firewall administration and VPNs
*Expert in Cisco Firewall, Router and Switch security
*Expert in OS and DB level security
*Demonstrated leadership skills, 5 - 7 years proven security and audit experience
*5-7 years experience in IT security project in international companies
*Fluent in English (Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage)
*ITIL experience
*Pharma exposure is a plus
*Proven capability to work efficiently in global organizations geographically spread with direct and indirect reporting lines in a Matrix set-up.
