IT Security Engineer/Python Developer - Contract

For an international financial institution in Zurich we are seeking a highly motivated professional to take up the following challenge:

IT SECURITY ENGINEER/PYTHON DEVELOPER (CONTRACT) - 5866

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Implement solutions for processing IT telemetry data in near-Real Time
- Enhance visibility on the health-status of the IT landscape, focussing on cyber security aspects
- Develop cyber incident detection capabilities

REQUIREMENTS

- Identify, analyse and describe use-cases for incident detection in the cyber security area
- Analyse logs and events and suggest incident detection strategy
- Develop and test specified incident detection strategies with available tools
- Issue PlayBooks, describing how to react to alerts on predefined use-cases
- Train and test support teams on use-cases to be perform
- Self-motivated, highly proactive attitude
- Excellent understanding of cloud related security concepts
- Strong hands-on experience in developing incident detection solutions
- Advanced proficiency Python programming
- Excellent command of English (written and verbal), outstanding communication skills

CONTRACT DETAILS

- Start ASAP
- Contract duration: 12 months (+ possible extensions)
- Work location Zürich area
- Rate all-inclusive 110 CHF per hour
