IT Security Engineer - Data Loss Prevention Projects Salary: AVP - Competitive Investment Banking Salary + Bonus Location:London A leading global tier 1 investment bank is looking to hire a Security Engineer with strong Symantec Data Loss Prevention skills to join their well established security function, to evaluate, design and deliver a range of projects and solutions within the DLP arena in particular. The engineer will be a key player in the team, working to discover, monitor, protect and manage business critical and confidential data for the bank. This is a highly hands on technical role so will be perfect for an engineer with strong Symantec DLP skills who enjoys being at the fore front of technology security and working on multiple projects. The security engineer will work with virtual teams on projects such as windows desktop/server endpoint security solutions (this is an on going project at the moment) so it is important the engineer has good communication skills capable of working across many business streams. Ideal Experience / Skill Set: * Symantec Data Loss Prevention/Vontu (DLP) or similar technology * Security Engineering/Project experience, definition and hands on delivery * Managing and improving information security strategy for the bank; auditing, secure development lifecycles, pen testing, monitoring, access control and encryption technologies. * Working with virtual teams of security and technical specialists to integrate existing security technologies. e.g. Windows teams for security solutions. * Good knowledge on core infrastructure platforms, windows/unix/networking. * Enterprise Security environment experience, banking is not essential.
