IT Security Engineer & Administrator (Contract)

For an international financial institution in Zurich we are seeking a highly motivated professional to take up the following challenge:

IT SECURITY ENGINEER & ADMINISTRATOR (CONTRACT)

JOB DESCRIPTION

- You will be responsible for managing infrastructure security projects, and contributing to business security projects
- You will be responsible for Real Time monitoring of system administrator activities, as well as improving security by designing and improving permanent supervision controls
- Lead infrastructure security projects, mainly focused around data leakage prevention, regulatory enhancements, operational risks managements and fraud reduction
- Monitoring system administrator activities in Real Time (4 eyes control)
- Industrialization of four eyes control process, design & implementation of permanent supervision controls.
- Ensure a close relationship with the central team and maintain a pro-active and innovative approach

REQUIREMENTS

- 3+ years of experience as an IT Security Engineer
- Excellent knowledge of IT Security
- Excellent knowledge of Linux RHEL Operating Systems
- Good Solaris Operating Systems knowledge
- Experience in the administration of VMs on ESX VMware
- Windows Server Engineering/Administration experience
- English fluent/German is desirable

CONTRACT DETAILS

- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 6 months (possible extension or permanent position afterwards)
- Location: Zurich
- Rate: in regards to seniority
