IT Security Engineer

IT Security Engineer - Belgium - Contract

We are urgently looking for an experienced IT Security Engineer to join an exciting project based in Belgium. Please note that high security clearance is required for this position.

The main purpose of the role is support the Crypto installation and other activities such as:

- Delivery of semi-formal training during initial installation of cryptographic equipment and systems
- Maintenance and provision of in-depth technical and procedural COMSEC knowledge
- Review of Project Implementation plans
- Production and dissemination Project documentation
- Technical support to production of project accreditation documentation
- Technical support to project handover (JFAI)
- Site surveys of installations in support of new installations
- Installation of COMSEC systems
- Commissioning of IA end-to-end services and support of IA helpdesk
- Preparation of IA system components prior to delivery to site
- Compilation and storage of installation records
- Production of formal Trip Reports

Requirements:
- Prior crypto experience
- Extensive experience in analysis of risk and in implementation and integration of IA protective measures
- Experience in Security Accreditation domain related to implementation of major Information Systems acquisition and/or development projects for large organizations
- Practical experience in planning, installing, maintaining crypto equipment and their associated voice or data terminal, line and routing equipment
- Knowledge of cryptographic equipment and principles
- Knowledge of modern communications principles to include Internet protocols (IP) networks and techniques
- Experience in up to date network security principles and practices
- Full clean driving license required
- Security Clearance is a MUST for this role
