IT Security Engineer

OUR DIRECT FORTUNE 500 CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR A SENIOR SECURITY ENGINEER WITH EXPERIENCE ON WINDOWS AND UNIX PLATFORMS TO JOIN THEIR ENTERPRISE SECURITY TEAM. IT IS A ONE-YEAR CONTRACT POSITION, WITH LIKELY RENEWALS. YOU\'LL NEED EXPERTISE IN PKI, LDAP, ENCRYPTION, INTRUSION DETECTION, FIREWALL CONFIGURATION AND OTHER SECURITY RELATED TECHNOLOGIES. .............................. - Manage/issue certificates through a public certificate athority (CA), Verisign, and a private/internal CA, Microsoft Certification Authority.
- Understanding of how certificates are used (Secure Socket Layer [SSL], authentication, Code Signing, etc)
- Be able to problem solve certificate issues.
- Knowledge of LDAP (SUN/Oracle or IBM)
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix
- Knowledge of Scripting language such as Perl or Python
- Experience with Identity/Access Management
- Experience with Data Protection
- Experience with Security Monitoring
- Experience with Threat/Vulnerability Management, Intrusion Detection/Prevention, and Firewall/Proxy Administration
