IT Security Consultant Glasgow 445 Security Clearance

IT security analyst required for a public sector organisation based in Glasgow.

Experience in an ICT infrastructure operations capacity (UNIX, Windows, LAN/WAN, IDS/IPS, Firewalls, web Servers, etc.), ideally within financially/public sector services environment. Experienced required includes:5 years or more proven experience in IT infrastructure Security Network, Performing technical security audits of company systems and networks to validate the coverage and effectiveness of deployed security controls and coordinating remediation activities where required. Representation at the ICT Security working group as a point on contract for IT security matters. One or more relevant professional certifications, CISSP, SSCP, CEH, CFHI, CCSP, GIAC.

Extensive knowledge of IT Security technologies such as: Cryptography, security and information management systems (SIEM), Identity and access management systems (IAM), Single and multi factor authentication systems, Firewalls, Network access control systems,Web and email security systems, Antivirus systems Enterprise intrusion detection and preventon systems, Vulnerability assessment and management systems, change and configuration assessment systems.

This a 9 month contract, based in central Glasgow with a daily rate of 445
