On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for an IT SECURITY BUSINESS ANALYST, with proven experience in applying business analysis techniques. Are you a passionate about supporting the development of IT Security systems and applications and who is looking for a new and exciting challenge?

Main responsibilities:
- Analyzing IT Security Requirements in global projects
- Translate complex security requirements into technical use case specifications and user stories for security engineering to deliver against
- Identify and collect all required data from stakeholder and prepare proper technical documentation
- Determine required IT Security business solutions and assist in implementing them
- Conduct requirements-gathering activities, like evaluating services, using a variety of internal and external data and conducting stakeholder interviews
- Support the Security engineers by describing the requirements and processes involved
- Assist in quality control and project management
- Identify people and systems impacted by functional and non-functional requirements
- Work closely with the business along with various partners within the IT organization regarding Information Security
The skills and experience needed for these positions are:
- Over 7 years of IT security experience in a similar role
- Experience applying business analysis techniques preferable in infrastructure projects
- The ability to interpret a set of technical requirements
- Working experience as a security operations or network system analyst is highly preferred
- An industry best practice qualification (eg CBAP, IREP, CISSP, GIAC) is an advantage
- Technically savvy with an appreciation for IT Security capability
- Focused on reducing business risk through the application of detection and prevention capabilities
- Good understanding of the software development life cycle along with strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
- Familiar with the importance of logs and how they support the detection and investigation of security alerts
- Fluent in English
