IT Security Architect (m/f/d) in Essen

Currently we are looking for one candidate who is able to cover the following position:

Your primary responsibilities:

Working with IT Security and other service owners responsible for establishing governance, policies, and requirements related to infrastructure security
-

Working with system owners to expand on infrastructure security into new or changed services to additional systems
-

Execute against the infrastructure security’s program roadmap
-

Work closely with the managed service providers to guide them for successful implementation of the projects regarding infrastructure security requirements (Security by design)
-

Perform root-cause analysis of complex issues ranging from hardware, operating system, application, network, and information security platforms while working closely with a variety of infrastructure teams and business users to quickly arrive at inventive and long-term solutions
-

Contribute to solution scoping and effort sizing with cross-functional teams
-

Oversee, approve and contribute to discussions related to how new infrastructure strategies, technologies, standards, vendors or approaches will contribute to the enterprise's target architecture
-

Specify, design, and build IT Security Infrastructure Management, solutions around Hardening and Benchmarking
-

Serve as a subject matter expert and solution architect for IT Security Infrastructure solutions

Your key competencies:

-

(Very) good practical experience and knowledge of IT Security in the area of IT infrastructure in general
-

Practical experience in the definition of a managed service for authentication and authorization
-

Several years of experience minimum in designing and running IT Security Infrastructure solutions
-

Ability to approach problems from an IT security perspective coupled with sound business know-how.
-

(Very) good practical experience and knowledge of IT Security in the area of IT infrastructure in general
-

Practical experience in the definition of a managed service for authentication and authorization
-

Several years of experience minimum in designing and running IT Security Infrastructure solutions
-

Ability to approach problems from an IT security perspective coupled with sound business know-how.
-

General knowledge of standard management systems like ISO2700x , CIS, NIST
-

Broad knowledge of IT Security with focus on complex infrastructure solutions, e.g.mainly MS based solutions
-

Knowledge of IT Security in hybrid environments, e.g. AD, Azure AD etc.
