BACKGROUND:
The Middleware & Frameworks group at my client, an international, English-speaking bank, designs, develops, supports, and operates the tools that enable integrating business applications within distributed environments. The team ensures the smooth operation of the solutions by assuring security, scalability, availability, alerting, and sound management.
In particular, this team is currently playing a key role in designing, delivering, and integrating the technical components supporting B2B, B2C and Web information exchange solutions. Within this context, the Web Security team focuses on the security components such as PKI, reverse proxies, application Firewalls, and more generally DMZ components.
The Web Security team drives product analyses and selections within the guidelines and requirements of the IT Security Architecture team and in collaboration with that team. The Web Security team ensures that the availability, operability, recoverability and scalability requirements are taken into account and then leads security product implementations and their integration within end-to-end solutions. The team also delivers and supports the security products in live production environments.
You must have a development background or at least have developed for a substantial part of your career. Also essential is a solid grounding in Linux. Candidates without these skills will not be considered.
TASKS:
Middleware/WebSecurity team.
The selected candidate will develop expertise in products owned by the Web Security team, and sufficient expertise in Web Security technologies in order to be able to support them in Production. He/She will take an active role representing technical aspects of Middleware Security in projects related to his/her area of expertise. He/She will also participate in the watch duty and more generally, production support (incident, problem, change management) for the Middleware Security team.
ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Experience with the Web Security Technologies
- Reverse Proxy, Application Firewall
- Apache, Linux, Windows
- Networks, DMZ
- Good knowledge PKI technologies (Smartcard, PKI Core, standard related to PKI technologies).
- Knowledge in Nexus Secure product.
- Knowledge in Smartcard (Gemalto, Java card).
- Experience in systems integrations
- Familiarity with project methodology: ITIL and Scrum
LANGUAGE: English (essential) plus French or Dutch (not essential but nice to have)
