IT Security Analyst Job

IT SECURITY ANALYST needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Neenah, WI.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Participate in small to medium to sized projects; consulting to ensure data protection and system access are properly deployed.
- Monitors, maintains and tests information security for operating systems, file structures and applications.
- Performs all data security activities to ensure Information Systems security.
- Assists investigations of data breaches and identifies areas for improving data security.
- As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) provides troubleshooting and expert problem-solving.
- Documents and analyzes data security features. Responsible for moderately complex reports and analysis.
- Previous ITS and computer security experience required with at least one the following areas: Network Security, Information & Event management, Identityadditionally knowledge of CI concepts and tools
- Ability to influence at multiple organizational levels without direct authority
- Success in collaborating and organizing across organizational and cultural boundaries; Skill in negotiating issues and resolving problems
- Skill in collecting and analysing complex data, evaluating information and systems, and drawing logical conclusions
- Able to identify, address or escalate potential issues
- Broad range of business and IT experiences
- Ability to bridge business and technology acumen
- Skill in effective verbal and written communications, including active listening skills and skill in resolving information conflicts.
- Skill in reviewing the effectiveness of controls over key IT risks, identifying significant exposures, and detecting control effectiveness.
- Knowledge of generally accepted IT audit standards, statements and practices, and IT security and control practices is a plus.
- These solutions encompass a range of platforms such as ERP (SAP), Firewall, Security Incident and Event Management logging (enVision), Identity Management, Proxy web filtering (Webwasher), Operating Systems (UNIX, NT, Mainframe), Mobile device management, and Email Exchange).
- Experienced position that requires a Bachelors or Masters degree and five to eight (5 - 8) years of experience.
- Ability to understand business and customer requirements that drive the analysis and design of technical solutions.
- Willingness to perform on-call and after hours support as required.
- Ability to collaborate with peers, application teams, and project teams on complex projects and issues.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task and balance conflicting priorities.
- Proficient in written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in related area (Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three to five (3 - 5) years of previous experience in a similar role.
