IT Security Analyst

Our client in Sydney's CBD is seeking multiple IT SECURITY ANALYSTS to primarily provide support to the Principal Manager - Security Policy in implementing the Information Security Management System. You will be responsible for planning and conducting IT security and other reviews as specified by the Principal Manager in relation to the efficiency, effectiveness, security and appropriateness of systems and recommending any improvements.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

- Relevant Information Security/Risk Management qualifications and/or extensive experience in IMPLEMENTING SECURITY FRAMEWORKS within large and diverse environments, including Security consulting engagements; Policy frameworks; Governance and strategy creation and implementation; Risk Management/Threat and Risk Assessments; Security Management/Operations effectiveness reporting; Security Operations and Awareness training development and delivery.
- Experience in the application of contemporary risk/information security management principles, practices and reporting standards
- Proven experience in the application of information security management standard (AS/NZS 27001 and AS/NZS 27002), risk management standard (AS/NZ 31000), COBIT and ITIL methodologies
- The ability to utilise contemporary computer security products
- Sound communication skills with the ability to negotiate change
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills in a large and diverse environment
