For our life-science client we a looking for a

IT (SAP) Project Manager

Start date: ASAP End date: 28.01.2018 (extension might be possible)
Work location: Basel
Workload: 100% (remote: not possible)
Travelling: up to 10% travelling may be required (Asia region, Australia and China (Shanghai)

Excellent verbal and written communications skills are important as well as strong presentation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously and acting as a self-starter, results-oriented with a track record of timely delivery of high-quality solutions

In this role you will work closely with the business leads, end user community, technical teams, and service providers in global environment to provide the overall IT service. This candidate will be proactive, outgoing and detail-oriented with strong leadership skills, excellent problem solving and written/verbal communication skills. The IT (SAP) Project Manager is expected to deliver outstanding customer service while providing technical and application support knowledge.

As an IT (SAP) Project Manager, the position will be responsible for leading the delivery of two projects and provide quality oversight. The IT Project Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of solutions through effective planning and execution throughout all phases of project management methodology. This position is expected to ensure timely and effective communications are made to all levels of stakeholders including business sponsorship.

Qualifications:

- 8+ years of experience as a successful SAP Information Technology Project Manager using structured project management processes
- Deep understanding of SDLCs including Agile methodologies
- Demonstrated competency planning and tracking project schedules
- Proven ability to obtain results in a Matrix environment
- Track record of delivering projects on time and on budget
- Ability to see the interrelationship of a project across "the big picture" and understand its dependency on other projects in the program as required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels, within IT and Business teams
- Exceptional listening, problem solving, negotiation, and facilitation skills
- Proven leadership abilities and emotional intelligence
- Education: Relevant Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS; or equivalent experience

Nice to Have:

+ PMM methodology experience and with the tools involved for maintaining a project (Perform, Clarity, Project Library, HPSM, HP ALM, etc.)
+ Working German language skills
+ Pharma or Biotech experience
+ Experience delivering applications to support Clinical Supply Chain
+ operations
