For our banking client in Zürich we are currently looking for an IT risk & Control Specialist:

START: ASAP
Duration: 6 months

Location: Zürich

Job profile:

Risk Strategic Change (RSC) supports the business division Chief Risk Officers and the Firm Wide Risk functions with best-in-class services to effectively and efficiently deliver Change-the-Bank projects. We act as the essential conduit between business stakeholders in Risk and the IT delivery functions, at various levels of seniority and across geographical locales. We ensure maximum added value by closely working with our business stakeholders to understand and interpret their needs and to stringently prioritise our resources. We partner with our IT service providers to ensure that optimal solutions are specified, designed, tested and implemented.

Key responsibilities:

- Drive and coordinate the delivery of Market Risk relevant IT and process changes
- Understand and analyse the business cases and requirements, propose solutions
- Work with the Functional Architects and other Business Analysts to ensure the solutions proposed are fit for purpose
- Assist IT in technical design and implementation. Ensure the IT delivery satisfies the business needs and requirements
- Provide strategic view on the design and project planning
- Identify opportunities for IT and process improvements
- Design and implement business processes that effectively complement the developed technology
- Assist IT and business in defining test cases and acceptance criteria
- Support testing participants in investigations and follow up on issues and queries
- Facilitate and support the transition of Change Program into run-the-bank
- Keep all stakeholders and working group members informed of the projects and their progresses

Key requirements:

- Strong analytical skills
- Previous business analysis experience in Risk Control in finance services industry
- Familiar with key risk concepts and measures across asset classes
- Good knowledge of IT and banking processes
- Motivated and be able to work independently
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficient at MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Preferred requirements:

Understanding and experience of implementing Limit Management in a large bank Michael Bailey International is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
