IT Requirement Engineer

For our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for a
REQUIREMENT ENGINEER - IT, US REGULATIONS, STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
Start: ASAP
Duration: initial contract of 12 months
Location: Zurich
This project will be around the implementation of a technical solution to comply with certain regulations. The IT requirements specifications have to be written derived from business requirements documents, meetings and workshops. New modules need to be developed on the IBM Mainframe in order to gather all required data, calculate and withhold the relevant tax amounts and create the regulatory reporting to IRS, clients and counterparties.
To be successful in this, we are looking for somebody with the skills below:
- Requirements engineering experiences on IT side within financial institutions of more than 5 years
- Well experienced in eliciting requirements from business subject matter experts (business requirements documents, workshops and meetings) and writing business rules and interface specifications for the developers
- Good understanding of financial instruments like Swaps, Forwards, Options, Warrants, Futures, Notes/Certificates, etc. as well as corporate action events and sell/buy transaction of mentions products
- Solid practical experience of use case modelling (UML) in IT projects
- Understanding of software development processes
- Distinctive analytical thinking, well structured, solution-oriented, autonomous, propulsive, proactive, flexible, communicative, insistent, responsibly
- Fluent in German and English (w/s)
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- IREB Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering or a similar certificate
- Well banking-knowhow about tax, namely about US Withholding Tax (FATCA, Qualified Intermediary)
- Working-experience within the IT department of financial institutions
- Experience in using tools like JIRA, Polarion, Enterprise Architect 9.x
- Project management experience (Agile method eg Scrum)
