IT Release Developer

An IT Release Developer is required for 3 months (likely to be extended) based in Brighton.

The IT Release Developer will take responsibility for deployment to development environments, UAT and live and script the necessary changes to ensure that COTS applications will continue to function as they are moved between domains and given new IP addresses. The IT Release Developer will apply and monitor the use of required automation tools, methods and standards and ensure IT support processes for live deployments are carried out and that live security is maintained at all times
The IT Release Developer will communicate effectively with all key internal and external stakeholders as part of the release cycle, including ensuring that all release documentation is published to stakeholders and appropriately documented.

Experience/skills required -

*Expert level in PowerShell
*PowerShell V2/V3
*Solid understanding of PowerShell remoting
*VMware vCloud and vSphere
*VMware PowerCLI
*Windows Server 2008-2012R2
*Microsoft Release Manager
*Business Analyst skills
*Experience in requirements gathering

This role is to start ASAP and will pay £26.60 per hour (Ltd/Umbrella)
