IT Recruitment Specialist

THE ROLE

We currently have an excellent opportunity for experienced Recruiter to join our team based out of Northampton, on a 12 month maternity contract, supporting the recruitment of our extensive and progressive IT Team.

Our highly respected IT team are currently on an exciting journey transforming the Travis Perkins experience for both our customers and our colleagues. With many large scale projects and developments in the pipeline, Travis Perkins are investing in the growth of their IT team. The IT Recruiter will play a fundamental part of this journey by attracting and recruiting the best candidates the industry has to offer.

You will be supporting the department by creating and implementing the employer brand, and delivering this brand through excellence in recruitment. You will design and create assessment centres to ensure candidates have both the technical skill and behaviours that fit with the Travis Perkins brand values.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Whilst previous IT recruitment experience is not essential, you must be quick to understand technical role requirements. You will be used to developing assessment centres using a variety of assessing methods and tools. You will be used to dealing with a variety of senior stakeholders and will confident at influencing at all levels, through strong relationship building.

PLEASE NOTE - THIS ROLE FOR 25 HOURS PER WEEK AND IS A FIXED TERM CONTRACT FOR 9-12 MONTHS TO START IN APRIL 2013.
