Our client is replacing their current system with Oracle CX Service Cloud formerly RightNow Technology. It will be used for case management to log and track issues to resolution and also a knowledge base of information for the support desk people to look up answers to questions. The tool is a client written in C# that resides on the user's computer and interfaces with an app server and cloud database (Oracle On Demand is hosting the test environment.).

We need a QA Lead to come in, review requirements, create the test plan and cases, execute tests, log defects and follow up with the development and analyst teams for resolution. The QA Lead will be responsible for status reporting, attending meetings to represent the QA team, running triage, and managing the day to day work tasks for the test effort.

Potential for conversion to hire for the right candidate. This solution may be used in all client call centers worldwide so there is potential for huge growth in this area.

JOB SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience working on the out of the box Oracle CX Service Cloud formerly RightNow Technology preferred
- Experience with a similar Client Server on the cloud hosted environment a plus
- Strong test methodology experience
- Ability to query a database
- Quality Center experience preferred
- Ability to work well under pressure and during times of extreme ambiguity
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills

SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE:

- Work experience in software requirements, development or testing with creating and executing quality assurance test plans, scenarios, cases, checklists and scripts: 7 years
- Experience in software requirements, development, and testing activities with multiple, simultaneous quality assurance efforts, and a track record as a contributor with providing quality assurance support in an analyst capacity, including tools development and usage: 7 years
- Demonstrated collaboration on project teams and interaction with project managers, business and functional analysts, developers and the business community directly related to quality assurance responsibilities and roles: 7 years
- Experience with programming languages and script development: 7 years
- Demonstrated experience with test management processes and technical skills, including an understanding of manual and automated test execution and performance related tools: 7 years
- Knowledge using version control and defect tracking methods, including an understanding of associated tools: 7 years
- Project management skills, including an understanding of project management processes and related tools: 7 years
- Knowledge of application software development life cycle concepts, lean and agile best practices, environment and configuration management, and test management methodologies and practices: 7 years
