IT Purchaser

We are currently urgently searching for a IT Purchaser to work for an international world wilde company nearby THE Hague! This contract position is for about 6 months with the possibility to extend! The start date is ASAP. Please be aware of the deadline Tuesday the 2th of August at 11:00 AM CET!

Project description

You will be working within the procurement department in the category of Professional Services. In alignment with the sourcing strategy, you will lead global and regional tender processes, supporting internal stakeholders across different locations. You will help define business needs to optimize the procurement of digital solutions as well as relationship management of strategic vendors. You will be actively participating in the strategic sourcing with the goal of achieving cost reductions while maintaining and/or improving quality of vendor service levels.

- Assist the various stakeholders in defining requirements, creating RFIs/RFPs, selecting vendors and driving negotiations - Maintain and develop in-depth knowledge of suppliers, markets & trends
- Monitor performance of vendors including the compliance with their commitments
- Address & solve escalations with supplier
- Provide guidance to stakeholders with regards to Professional Services needs.
- Ensure efficiency/effectiveness of the procurement processes and work on improvements where needed
- Contribute to consolidation, reduction and rationalization of the existing supplier base

Your profile:

- Bachelor/master degree in a relevant field like Minimal 2. Years experience in procurement
- OR certifications in the in the area of procurement min. 3 years experience in this field
- Experience in working in an international environment (both cross-functional and crossorganizational)
- Strong knowledge of different cultures and ways of working
- Knowledge in Project management
- Good/excellent command of English and Dutch
