IT Project Manager, Trading Platform, Banking (Contract, Zurich)

For our client, an international bank based in Zurich, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced English speaking Project Manager with experience managing large cross border projects for a trading platform project role in Zurich.

IT PROJECT MANAGER, TRADING PLATFORM, BANKING (CONTRACT, ZURICH)

We offer:

- A challenging role as Project Manager leading multiple critical IT projects in for a trading platform, with end-to-end responsibility
- Close collaboration with Senior Management across various departments, as well as with the Centres of Excellence abroad
- Provide senior level compliance assessment and reporting for IT projects, programs and operations

To qualify for this exciting contract position in question bring the following skills and experience:

- Graduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related subject, alternatively an equivalent education
- 5+ years of proven track record experience of managing complete SDLC in large IT projects in financial services industry
- Experience of closely working with business and IT stakeholders to drive the delivery of IT solution
- Expertise in leveraging project management tools like Clarity, JIRA, MS Project
- Proficient in project planning, communication, scope and change management
- Experience of managing trading platform related project is a plus
- Strong organization and administration skills, and ability to define and operate robust processes and procedures, and guide others in doing the same
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work and communicate effectively with senior management
- Passion for building and working within diverse teams and meritocratic cultures
- Experience of vendor relationship management
- Fluent in English (spoken and written), German is nice to have
