IT Project Manager - Trade Finance - Switzerland - Contract

For one of our major clients in the Financial sector in Zurich, we are currently looking for an IT Project Manager in the Trade Finance and Factoring area for a new contracting position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design and lead a major project in the Trade Finance & Factoring area.
- Full responsibility over the project time, cost and quality
- Deliver the project on time by using Agile methodology
- Manage the project team and the different stakeholders
- Ensure decommissioning of the related application
- Maintain different dependencies to related applications
- Issue project status reports
- Provide prompt information to all stakeholders involved in the project
- Manage project risks
- Assure adherence to internal project delivery processes
- Prepare required project documentation

IDEAL PROFILE:

- Certificated IT Project Manager (Prince 2, PMP, IPMA, etc.)
- University Degree in IT, or a related field of study
- Background in leading software development projects for at least 5 years
- Experience with Agile projects
- Outstanding project management skills
- Background in the banking and/or financial sector
- General understanding of the Trade and Commodity Finance area
- Team player, good at cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
- Fluent German and English
