We are seeking an experienced SENIOR IT PROJECT MANAGER who will be will be responsible for successful project delivery while working with matrixed teams comprised of all ranges of technical and business personnel. A successful candidate MUST have active PMP and SCRUM/Agile certifications, have significant IT Project Management experience and superb business-facing communication skills. The ability to manage outsourced development vendors and work effectively with multiple business partners is key. Payment industry and/or past experience is a definite plus.


- Minimum of 10 years of project management experience leading technical teams in the delivery of software development, operational and integration efforts.
- Minimum of 3 years experience leading Agile projects; experience with managing projects in an organization going through an agile transition a plus.
- Undergraduate degree in technical or business discipline required (equivalent work experience will be considered); advanced degree preferred.
- Experience with Marketing Technology systems preferred; specifically web and collaboration tools.
- Must be PMP-certified (No exceptions).
- Demonstrable experience in managing several concurrent medium-scale, high profile projects with extensive executive stakeholder participation.
- Expertise in MS Project 2010 schedule management including understanding the role of robust WBS s.
- Strong understanding of mature business requirements traceability processes.
- Strategic thinking and the proven ability to engage and influence senior and executive management.
- Familiarity with wireframe/mock up tools (eg Balsamiq) a plus.


- Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor
- Direct a mix of internal and outsourced/vendor, geographically diverse resources for project delivery.
- Ability to establish and sustain effective, professional relationships with IT and business managers.


- Strong process orientation and a solid understanding of project management techniques, methodologies and best practices.
- Experience managing projects using Agile and/or a hybrid of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Self-motivated; able to work independently while coordinating activities with cross-divisional teams.
- Team player; able to communicate with technical and business experts at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage complex project financials; including labor and non-labor forecasts
- Independent judgment and mature decision making skills to deal with projects that often have enterprise-wide scope with significant financial/compliance impacts.
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills; ability to think strategically.
- Well-honed influencing skills; ability to negotiate and gain consensus between organizations where competing priorities exist.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft tools (SharePoint 2010+, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Proficient in the use of JIRA and Rally as Agile Project Management tools.
- Reputation for being a collaborative partner and business leader, skilled at leveraging formal and informal relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to foster a trusting project environment.
- Maintain high level of effective communication through status updates at various levels and thorough attention given to all project artifacts (eg meeting minutes, status reports)
- Demonstrate leadership qualities including flexibility and adaptability to changes in roles and responsibility as required.
- Ability to solicit project requirements and complete documentation.
