For a long term project at our banking client's site in Giubiasco, we are looking for an experienced


This is an exciting and challenging role for an IT Project Manager in Risk & Finance IT Switzerland with a flair for risk topics in a global, international and Matrix-structured environment. Ideally, the successful candidate bringt 2 - 5 years experience in Project Management.


- University degree education in computer science, information technology, ideally with focus on banking and finance
- Understanding of Financial Risk Management domain, to support translating Credit Impairment Models such as Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) model into IT implementations
- Proven track record of minim. 3-5 years of experience in IT project management - managing budget, scope, quality & risks with globally distributed teams
- Knowledge on executing projects using Waterfall or Agile project methodologies. Project Management certification is a plus eg PMP or IPMA
- Experience with large global IT projects spanning over several functional areas and systems
- Experience with managing software design and development, software package integration, testing projects
- Comfortable in driving initial scope ideas into concrete project scope with appropriate governance structure
- Excellent communication skills at all levels of management. Good listening and influencing skills, proactive communicator with ability to convey complex thoughts and ideas in simple terms to various audiences
- Track record in project leadership and leading team with various backgrounds
- Flexibility and capacity to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to work with very limited level of direction and supervision
- Fluent written and spoken English is a must, Italian and/or German are additional assets


- Take responsibility for the successful delivery of regulatory projects. On this role you will be responsible for a stream within the Impairment Program to deliver new credit impairment calculations for the PB book
- Responsibility for the delivery of projects and coordinating activities across multiple business and technical stakeholders in line with business and program management priorities
- Responsibility to plan and optimize utilization of allocated project resources
- Manage all project phases: Setup, Initialization, System Design, Realization and Deployment of Software Life Cycle Models
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and assume additional responsibilities as required
- Exposure to senior management and challenging role in coordinating global teams and various stakeholders
- Front-to-Back Engagement throughout the credit life cycle, from Front Office to the final exposure measures
- Involvement in building future risk management capabilities
