IT PROJECT MANAGER [PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY]

Our client, global IT system integrator are currently looking for experienced IT Project Manager to join their client team based in BASEL, SWITZERLAND.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

- 10+ years of IT project management experience preferably in the Pharmaceutical Industry especially DRUG DEVELOPMENT FUNCTION;
- Business Domain knowledge: Technical Research; Development (TRD), Global Drug Development (GDD)
- Development IT tools knowledge (eg DocStore-Diary, PROTON)
- Experience with Predictive/Data Analytics projects

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and represent the project from start-up to completion
Plan and organize the project
Leadership of global internal and external project teams
Vendor management (incl. contract management)
Be responsible for achieving the project objectives
Manage quality, timeliness and cost of the deliverables, plus business value delivery.
Active and continuous risk and issue management
Maintain control over the project's status and budget/spending
Report project status and issues, particularly to the Project leadership team
Compliance to internal standards and policies (eg. IGM) and external standards (eg. GxP) where applicable
Ensure successful handover and transition of solution to Operations

SKILLS REQUIRED

Superior leadership, interpersonal, communication, influencing, negotiation, problem solving skills and stakeholder management
Superior project and program management skills, including strong knowledge of and ability to apply various methodologies (eg. ICE, Agile, Waterfall SDLC).
Considerable business domain awareness and political agility (eg interrelationship of departments, business priorities), plus in depth industry understanding and network.
General to detailed understanding of current technologies, and their application to enable business value.
Has experience/is comfortable working in a global, multi-cultural and Matrix environment
Fluency in English (oral and written)
