IT Project Manager Job

SENIOR IT PROJECT MANAGER needed for a LONG-TERM CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Charlotte, NC.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- PMP Certification

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- IT Project Manager for large-scale application projects.
- Execution of PM processes and deliverables.
- Reporting to the IT PMO
- Manage sponsor expectations.
- Manage a team of matrixed resources.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Four (4) year degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
- Five (5) or more years of experience showing a demonstrated competency in Project Management
- Five (5) plus years of IT PM experience.
- Directly managed vendor contracts/SOW's
- Demonstrated MS Project schedule management on previous projects
- Strong project management methodology background - both Waterfall and Iterative approaches

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Utility experience - Specifically previous experience in commodities trading
- Accenture Delivery Methods (ADM) experience
- MS Project Server 2010
- PMP Certification
